Hypnosis for Success

An open door leading from a dim hallway into a warm, sunlit room.

Hypnosis for success doesn’t involve ‘programming’ your mind for success, as some people might believe.

This is a more classical portrayal of hypnosis: the idea that someone can be hypnotized, given suggestions, and their life improves.

When I use the word hypnosis here, I mean unconscious change: natural shifts in the way you feel that don’t require conscious effort to maintain.

In my work, we address what’s getting in the way—what’s inhibiting you from moving towards what you want.

Not my version of success, but what you imagine success to look and feel like for you.

Moving towards success often involves challenges along the way.

Not everything goes according to plan.

Life happens.

But as long as you’re able to adapt and respond to what life presents to you, you can keep moving towards the outcomes you desire.

When someone is considering ‘hypnosis for success,’ it’s often because they don’t feel like they’re able to adapt and respond in the way they know they’re capable of.

When they start taking the steps they know they need to take towards a goal, something holds them back.

They find themselves getting in their own way.

They want one thing, but feel another.

There’s a clash between what they say they want and what they find themselves doing.

That’s what this work focuses on: uncovering and clearing away these conflicts.

This could be a belief that you don’t deserve success.

A fear of something your mind associates with becoming successful.

Or a sense that something internally is stopping you, even if you don’t know what or why.

Our minds like what’s familiar and predictable.

Moving into new territory can cause us to question ourselves, even when we know what greater success could bring into our lives.

Success that involves something you haven’t experienced before is unfamiliar to the mind.

This is why moving towards bigger goals can lead us to confront ideas about ourselves that we were previously able to avoid.

Because we didn’t have to deal with them previously, they didn’t become a problem.

This presents an opportunity: to shift the thoughts and feelings that are getting in your way, or to continue to stay where you are.
